Passports must be valid for a minimum 6 months.
All minors under the age of 18 years are required to travel with and produce, in addition to their passport, an Unabridged Birth Certificate (showing the particulars of both parents) when exiting and entering South African ports of entry.

- Visitors who wish to stay longer than 14 days should apply for extensions at the Lesotho Immigration Authorities within the initial 14 day period
