B.B.Q BASED Beef Sirloin with Potato Balls and Black pepper and Mushroom Sauce Serves two

Ingredients

  • 2 Beef Sirloin
  • 200g of thinly slices mixed Peppers(red, Green, Yellow)
  • 1 Carrot Peeled and thinly Sliced
  • 2 Potatoes (Mashed)
  • Salt and Pepper to correct seasoning
  • 30g of B.B.Q Basting Sauce
  • 60 g of pepper Sauce Knowrr
  • 20g of Sliced button Mushroom
  • 30g of bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 10g cream

Method:

  1. Take the mashed potato and make 6 even round balls and dip them in eggs and then in bread crumbs, carefully lower them in a deep fryer at 200digrees  until golden brown
  2. Take half of the mushroom, chop them and pan fry with butter, salt and black pepper, then add the knowrr pepper Sauce and simmer for 3min, then after you switch off the pan and add cream
  3. In a frying pan add olive oil, and pan fry the mixed peppers and carrots together until soft
  4. In a different frying Pan add olive oil , when the oil is hot, carefully place the sirloin and fry for 2mim per side then add the B.B.Q Basting Sauce
  5. Once the Sirloin is ready, introduce all the prepared ingredients together
  6. On a plate, first place the vegetable in the middle of the plate, just above the vegetables place the potatoes in a raw, then place the sirloin right across the plate so that the top of the sirloin lays on top of the potatoes, and around the plate carefully pour the Pepper and mushroom sauce

Chef Tips:

  • Ask your Local Butchery to clean and shape the sirloin for you
  • Make sure your pan is very hot to ensure that the juices remain in the sirloin
  • Always play with colours to make your food look great
