Enjoyment at Maliba Lodge

Brrrr it was cold

We stay in Centurion Gauteng where it can get cold, but nothing compared toLesotho. My wife (Alta) looked back at the warmer Centurion after feeling the colderLesotho.   The temperatures went from cold to very cold, but inside our room we were safe, equipped with a fire place, under floor heating and even heated toweled rails. The warm welcome and hospitality made us forget about the cold for a while, thank you.

Small does count

Everybody goes to Maliba Lodge in Lesotho to experience the massive mountains and there incredible view. Let’s not forget that the small also exist in these enormous mountains. We were so lucky to spot this small lady bug busy exploring her own world inLesotho. Can you imagine what she must think of these mountains if my brain found it difficult to explain there magnitude.

Cool runnings

It never stopped, we could hear the river run all the time. The sound was so calming and relaxing that we had to get closer. Closer was fine but to get inside the water were a problem, my legs were in so much pain after 10 seconds, that I had to withdraw  them from the water into the sun to recover, but the coldness did also cure the body, mind and spirit.

Thank you to every body at Maliba lodge that made our stay a memorable one.  I can’t wait for our next visit, when I don’t know but a second or even a third visit for sure.
