Please Note
- Rates quoted are in South African Rand and are per person per night.
- Tariff includes en-suite accommodation and all meals
- Rates quoted are inclusive of 14% VAT
- 10% surcharge during peak season with minimum 2 nights stay over Christmas & New Year (16/12/2012 - 02/01/2013); Easter (27/03/2013 - 02/04/2013)
- Minimum 2 nights stay between June/July Holidays 2013
- Room release time is at 18:00 HRS unless we are notified of a late arrival
- A 50% deposit is required for confirmation of booking
- Bookings are to be paid IN FULL PRIOR TO ARRIVAL by EFT or Credit Card, proof faxed or emailed to head office
- A 3% additional fee will be added for credit card transactions (Visa, Mastercard, and Diners Club cards Only)
- Direct deposits into our South African FNB account is preferred

Rates
These Rand Rates are effective from 01 November 2012 to 31 October 2013. All Rates are inclusive of VAT

Payments
Accommodation bookings are to be paid IN FULL prior to arrival by EFT or Credit Card and proof faxed or emailed to Durban Office. Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard and Diners Club Card only or by electronic bank transfer. Cash can also be accepted to cover balance of payments and incidental costs.
- Extras (beverages, meals, activites) can be paid direct at the lodge prior to departure by cash or credit card. Maliba lodge only accept payment by EFT if being done on site. Maliba however has the rights to take a copy of guest cc details before departure. Maliba lodge will not allow their guests to leave the premises without completing final payment/bill
- Credit card payment is accepted at the lodge, however this option attracts a 3% commission fee (mastercard, visa, and diners). Copy of ID/Passport will be taken for security purposes

Children
Children 5-12 years of age are charged a fee of R425 per night. Children 4 years of age or under stay completely free of charge. Limits of 2 children are allowed to stay if sharing in parent’s room.

Extra Adults
A maximum of one extra adult can be accommodated in a twin or double room

Bookings
All bookings must be made in writing with our Central Reservations office and all guests should be in possession of a valid booking confirmation obtained from our reservations office.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation more than 30 days prior to date of travel No Charge
Cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival 25% Cancellation Fee
Cancellation less than 14 days prior to arrival 50% Cancellation Fee
Cancellation less than 7 days prior to arrival 100% Cancellation Fee
Terms and conditions as well as cancellation policy are deemed as being accepted on receipt of the deposit (non-negotiable). Maliba Lodge reserve the right to cancel any activity due to weather conditions, closure of National Parks or any other unforeseen event.

Transfers - this will be charged based on a minimum of 2 pax in order to secure a Private Service

National Parks Fees
National Park Adult Entrance fee per visitor per visit: 0 - 5yrs no charge, 6 -12yrs - R10, +12 yrs - R40 plus additional R10 per vehicle. Cash payment must be made on arrival at Park Entrance
